Our wedding was an amazing experience. Without a doubt this was in large part due to our wedding coordinator, Mindy Rosas. I don't have a lot of experience with wedding planning, but I can't imagine anyone doing a better job than Mindy, especially in Tulum. Mindy is American but has been in Tulum for a long time now, meaning she can perfectly work between American/English speaking couples and all of the local vendors. In fact, every vendor Mindy provided was EXCELLENT, and we barely had to lift a finger to coordinate anything. Every aspect of our wedding was fantastic, either because of Mindy or the vendors she hired for us. She took the design ideas we had and created a beautiful environment that our guests were gushing about. We had a potential rain storm coming and she quickly adapted everything. I forgot a song for the reception and Mindy made sure it got on the playlist just an hour or two before the ceremony. A guest got too drunk and they were put to bed before any one even noticed.

I could go on about the various aspects of the party - the fun side activities like a polaroid picture "booth", the amazing arbor her husband put together, under which we were married, etc - but I think if I could say one thing about Mindy's work its that she genuinely seems to enjoy it, and sincerely makes you feel like making your wedding special means everything to her. She takes her job very seriously while having a lot of fun, and I think she can be very helpful for people who aren't used to the culture and pace of life in Tulum. She definitely has the experience, is very versatile/easily adapts when needed, and also has a good energy and creativity that she brings to making the wedding perfect and getting everyone excited. If you are thinking about getting married in Tulum, I would recommend her a thousand times over.
